BREAKING: Infamous Bandit Leader Kachalla Yellow Eliminated in Zamfara!

Over 100 Bandits Neutralised in Fierce Firefight – Turji Reportedly Plans to Flee.

There is celebration and great relief across communities in Zamfara and Sokoto States after news broke that Kachalla Yellow Danbokolo, a notorious bandit leader, has been killed by security forces. Danbokolo was a close friend and top commander of another dreaded bandit kingpin, Bello Turji.

According to trusted reports from GISTMILNIJA, Danbokolo and six other top commanders were killed on Sunday during a serious gun battle in a village within Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The clash happened when operatives of the Zamfara Community Protection Guards (CPG) launched an ambush based on intelligence.

How It Happened

The guards received information that Danbokolo and his men were heading towards the forest to plan more attacks. They quickly acted and set up an ambush along his route. A violent gunfight broke out that lasted nearly two hours. Danbokolo was first shot in the leg while trying to escape. He continued to run, but the injury became too much. He lost a lot of blood and collapsed.

When the CPG caught up with him, they ended his reign of terror. According to eyewitnesses, he was beheaded and dismembered by the operatives. Over 100 of his foot soldiers were also gunned down in the battle, and many more ran into the forest in panic.

No Help, No Escape

A source who spoke to Daily Trust said Danbokolo’s remaining men tried to carry him across nearby villages in search of medical help. But because of his wicked acts in the past, no one agreed to treat him. He eventually died from his injuries.

Another source explained, “Danbokolo was the real force behind most attacks in Sokoto and Zamfara. He showed no mercy. He killed and kidnapped people without blinking. We’re glad he’s finally gone.”

Fear in Turji’s Camp

Danbokolo’s death has sent shockwaves through the network of bandits in the region. Bello Turji, his close ally and one of the most feared bandit leaders in Nigeria, is said to be shocked and confused. Reports say Turji is now thinking of fleeing to the Niger Republic or Chad, especially since security operations have become more intense.

With the suspension of mobile network services in Zamfara and Sokoto, the bandits have been struggling to communicate. This has made it difficult for them to organize reinforcements or get support from other gangs.

A source said, “If the network was still active, Danbokolo might have called for help. But now, with communications cut off, they are stuck and helpless.”

Joint Forces Operation

The successful mission involved a joint team made up of the CPG, Nigerian Police, DSS (Department of State Services), and the Joint Task Force (JTF). They had received intelligence that Danbokolo and six other commanders were planning coordinated attacks on towns in Shinkafi.

The operation was launched before the attacks could happen. In the ambush, all seven top bandit leaders were killed, and many others were injured or forced to flee.

Danbokolo was also responsible for the abduction and killing of a traditional ruler, Sarkin Gobir Muhammad Bawa, and several deadly raids in Sokoto East, Shinkafi, and across the Gundumi Forest axis.

Communities Celebrate

Villagers in Zamfara and Sokoto are now celebrating the death of a man who had brought them years of fear, pain, and death.

A resident said, “We’re so happy. This is like a dream. Danbokolo’s name alone used to make us afraid to sleep at night. But now, he’s gone for good. He was the real commander. Turji only gave orders — Danbokolo made sure the crimes were carried out.”

Another added, “More than 180 of his fighters have been killed in recent raids. We’ve seen them running away. Their camps have been destroyed. We are now hoping and praying that Bello Turji will be next.”

Conclusion

With the fall of Kachalla Yellow Danbokolo, the Nigerian security forces have taken a huge step forward in the war against banditry in the North West. The people of Zamfara and Sokoto are finally seeing hope after years of terror.

But the fight isn’t over yet. Communities are calling on the government and security agencies to remain strong and finish the job — so that lasting peace can return to the region
