Club World Cup Rout: PSG Crush Messi’s Inter Miami 4-0 to Storm Club World Cup Quarter-Finals

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) showed their strength on Sunday as they beat Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 4-0 and moved into the Club World Cup quarter-finals.
Many fans were hoping that Messi could help Miami pull off a surprise win against his old team. But PSG were too strong and played much better throughout the game, which was held in Atlanta.
Messi, along with his old Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, helped Miami reach the last 16. But in this match, PSG proved to be on a different level.
Joao Neves was the star of the night, scoring two goals for PSG. Achraf Hakimi also scored, and one goal came from an own goal by Miami’s Tomas Aviles.
Neves got the first goal just six minutes into the game. After that, Miami tried to fight back, but PSG scored three more goals before halftime.
PSG winger Ousmane Dembele, who just came back from injury, said, “We had to take this game seriously. The competition has started, and we played really well.”
The stadium was packed with 66,000 fans, most wearing Miami’s bright pink jersey or Argentina shirts, all there to see Messi.
PSG started strong from the beginning. Their player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia passed to Bradley Barcola, but Miami’s goalkeeper Oscar Ustari made a good save. Soon after, a foul by Miami’s right-back Marcelo Weigandt gave PSG a free-kick. Vitinha crossed it to Neves, who scored the first goal.

Miami found it hard to get Messi involved in the game. PSG kept the ball and pressed high up the field, making it hard for Miami to create chances.
In the 39th minute, Busquets made a mistake near his own goal. PSG quickly took the ball, and Neves scored again to make it 2-0.
